Developed by Piccolo and designed through a meticulous collaboration between Jackson Clements Burrows Architects (JCB) and Hecker Guthrie, the project is deeply rooted in its local context. Situated on Argyle Street, the design pays a beautiful, tactile homage to the site’s origins as a bustling 1880s bootmaker’s shop, seamlessly balancing heritage sensibilities with highly refined contemporary living.
To anchor these spaces in warmth and history, 230x50x15mm Krause Rustic Red Blue Paving Tiles were featured prominently throughout the project. The deep, varied tones and textured finish of the fired clay bridge the gap between Fitzroy’s industrial past and its sophisticated present.
At Fitzroy House, the rich, organic variations of Krause Rustic Red Blue Paving Tiles act as a tactile thread, weaving the site’s 1880s industrial heritage beautifully into its contemporary new chapter.
