Situated in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Balwyn, Cherry Road elegantly balances highly curated architecture with the rambling beauty of its surrounding landscape. Designed by DKO Architecture in collaboration with Eversun Group, this premium multi-residential project embraces modern grandeur through a dignified, softly curved form. The design deliberately draws the natural environment inward, ensuring that every angle of the residence feels deeply connected to the lush, integrated gardens.
To achieve the project’s distinctive, tactile facade, the design team selected our Krause Emperor Bricks in the pale Ghost blend. The elongated, refined profile of our Emperor brick was customised to perfectly form the gentle curvatures of the building, while the subtle variations of the clay provide a beautiful, grounding backdrop for the meandering greenery.
"A canvas of soft, earthen tones evokes a sense of effortlessness that invite moments of contemplation and unkempt opportunities for repose."
Pairing this bespoke masonry with finely crafted steel elements, Cherry Road delivers a highly sophisticated addition to the local streetscape. It is a stunning example of how soft, textural materials can seamlessly anchor contemporary design in nature.
